2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. butter
4 T. granulated sugar
2 c. flour sifted 3 times
2 t. vanilla
confectioners sugar
Soften butter. Mix flour and butter well with hands. Add sugar, nuts and vanilla. Make balls about size of walnuts. Place on baking sheet and bake 12 min. in 325 oven.
While still hot, roll in confectioners sugar. Roll in sugar until well coated and cool. Makes 40 balls.
I have these scheduled to post toroormw! Haha same wavelength, you and me. I was wondering how it would work if I didn’t bother to freeze the cream cheese mixture. I was worried the cream cheese would be too heavy for the batter and sink to the bottom, which is why I froze it according to the recipe the first time. Good to know that it worked out okay without that step!
